Myanmar is one of the most interesting countries we have ever touched down in and we are so glad we took the time to visit the beautiful town of Kalaw and then spend 3 full days hiking from Kalaw to Inle Lake. We were afforded the opportunity to stay in remote hill tribe villages, interact with locals and challenge ourselves in many new ways. We even camped out with some rats!
We plan on writing a post still about our time spent on the trail, that is to come, but wanted to show you this first so you can actually see what the hike was like. A couple things to keep an eye out for:
- Count how many different landscapes and scenes we cross through, the number will shock you, I think.
- Take a look at the variations in clothes that Lina is wearing, the hike is very temperate when it comes to climate.
- How about some of those bridges?!
