The Luxor Temple dates back to around 1400 BC and archaeologists believe that it’s here that Egyptian Pharaohs and later kings might have been crowned.
The Karnak complex is huge, and you’ll find a separate museum on site too, the Karnak Open-Air Museum, where you can enjoy a wealth of information and artifacts.
