Witness the laid-back local villages, farmlands, and rain forests as you glide along the glistening river.

Take time to appreciate the wildlife around you as native birds fly above your head while chirping bird songs. The trip eventually reaches the Magic Waterfall – Navua’s biggest waterfall.

Take a cooling swim in the rejuvenating waters and massage your back under the cascading falls.

The next part of this river adventure involves some fun bamboo rafting. Hop on your bamboo raft and float for half an hour all the way to a native Fijian village.

3. ZipLine Over the Wainadoi River Valley

If you book a zip lining tour package, this adventure will start by being picked up in a comfortable AC vehicle to the awesome zip lining location – the Wainadoi River Valley.

Tighten your seatbelts as you are now about to venture into an experience like no other. Listen to the safety instructions carefully and then climb up to the starting point of the zip line.

At Shark Reef Marine Reserve, you can swim with eight different species of sharks and even get the chance to feed them.

For those crazy enough to give it a try the highlights are the 10-foot-long, 400-pound bull sharks. Other species you’ll see include White Tips, Black Tips, Greys, and Nurses.

5. White Water Rafting at the Upper Navua River

This is why we headed to Pacific Harbour. Hidden away near the Pacific Harbor, Fiji lays a tropical slice of paradise known as the Upper Navua River.

Lined with pristine wilderness, numerous waterfalls, and extremely stimulating rapids, it has become a favorite spot for white water rafting.

In fact, the rapids here are considered to be the best in the country. During your white water rafting trip amidst the Upper Navua Gorge, you will be riding some of the most formidable and enthralling water terrains in Fiji.

Get comfortable in your inflatable raft as you strap on your life jacket and helmet, then get ready for the ride of your life.

The Upper Navua Gorge stretches for several kilometers and there are supposed to be seventy waterfalls around the area!

On your white-knuckle rafting adventure, you’ll come across several canyons and spot endless tropical flora and fauna. Try not to fall in!

A half-day charter will last about 4 hours and will take you to two different dive sites allowing around 45 minutes to an hour at each location.

You’ll get the chance to catch common tropical and pelagic species such as Spanish Mackerel, Coral Trout, and Wahoo.

Alternatively, you can take a full-day tour and spend a few more hours diving and fishing. If you’re on a shared charter you’re also welcome to take your catch away with you and relish it for dinner.
