Photographing animals is one of my favorite things about traveling the World. There are so many unique and beautiful creatures on this earth and I consider myself extremely lucky to see many of them up close and personal.
I knew Australia was going to offer me my first look at many new species, but I wasn’t prepared for the amount of animals that we would come across during our 8 weeks we spent traveling there.
Below is just a small sampling of the hundreds of wildlife photos I took during our time in Australia. Many of them are of birds and this may surprise you, but I wasn’t prepared for the number of amazing birds we would see here. Top that off with the diverse marsupials and I can easily say I was click happy.
I hope you enjoy these 20, er 21, photos I have culled out of the thousands that I have taken in Australia. Yes, 21, I added a bonus for you because I just couldn’t leave the last photo out.
